The Moose River series of portage packs cover the traditional sizes of envelope style canoe bags. The #3 Original (Once called the Monarch 3-20) Duluth Pack is likely the best selling canoe pack of all time. The Moose River #3 follows in the footsteps of this iconic pack, but improves upon the original in the details.
The Moose River series are great packs in two sizes to allow greater flexibility of loading, fine tuning your gear hauling and weight distribution in the canoe. Made with traditional 18 oz. canvas the Moose River packs are toughened up with a double canvas bottom. US tanned leather is used to reinforce all the stress points and for the handles, shoulder straps and trim. Solid brass buckles and an attachment for an optional waist belt round out the features.
Hand-made by The Boundary Waters Bag Co. in Ely, Minnesota USA. These bags are better than the original Duluth Pack and head and shoulders above the pretenders of today!
