An excellent lightweight backpacker’s saw with tempered Swedish steel blade that folds safely and completely into the rugged high-strength aluminum frame when not in use.

Umingmaq’s Take: This saw is fantastic for canoe or kayak-camping trips in the boreal forests of North America. It folds flat and narrow when not in use. The 21″ blade cuts efficiently. There are fancy new designs by other companies at twice the price, but why pay that? The Sven Saw is a classic design and it’s made in Minnesota.
