The 81000D is a stunning wooden paddle made from red and yellow Cedar with edges in Siberian Larch. The alternating wide and narrow wood laminations give the 81000D a striking and beautiful look. Although the photos show a one-piece paddle Umingmaq Paddle Touring Center stocks only two part paddles.

Hello. I am planning on buying a Greenland paddle. I’d like to know what is the weight of the 8100D and can the blade be provided with one side dihedral and the other side flat? I assume it also comes with a carbon inner hexagon joining piece.

Thanks for reaching out, the wood paddles are all pretty close in weight. The 8900D being the exception, which is about 1-4 ounces lighter for a given length than the 1100D, the 8400D and the 8100D.
I recently weighed the paddles that I had in stock and the following weights were recorded in 224cm: 8900D 1 lb 15 ounces, 1100D, 8400D and 81000D were each 2 lb 3 ounces.
