A Greenland paddle for long days and long miles!
Description
The Gram Kajak 9200D is a paddle designed to allow you to put miles behind you with more efficiency than a traditional Greenland paddle, but far less strain on the joints than a Euro-blade paddle. The 9200 accomplishes this with a blade that is wider than a traditional Greenland paddle (94mm/3.70″), but uses the same joint-protecting technique.
Unlike other carbon paddles, the 9200 does not get slippery when wet because of the special surface. The surface is not rough, no blisters, it just has high friction, like my wood paddles. The handle is oval 31x36mm / 1.22″ x 1.42″. The soft shoulders makes it easy to make sliding strokes, while still having the feel of where the blade starts.
The joint is shaped like a hexagonal tube, which is locked with a simple snap lock.
